Novato Police Arrest Woman on Heroin, Meth, Narcotics Charges

Novato police say they arrested a woman early Tuesday morning after they found her both under the influence and in the possession of drugs.

26-year-old Jana Dominquez, of Vacaville, was arrested shortly after 1 a.m. Tuesday, according to Sgt. Jenner.

"During the contact with Dominquez in her room, suspected heroin, methamphetamines and narcotic paraphernalia were located," a Novato police alert stated.  "Additionally, Dominquez was suspected of being under the influence of illegal drugs."

The woman was taken to the Marin County Jail.

"The Novato Police Department is proactive in the detection, and removal of dangerous drugs from our city streets," police said.

They've stopped notifying us about that for some reason Jerome. Used to always be the last sentence " _____ is also detained under a no bond Federal Immigration Hold"...Can we demand that Marin Sheriff report whether ICE has placed a hold on someone or not in their online booking log? Even though the Sheriff now has to release all but the most violent offenders under their ICE HOLD due to this travesty of California law, this is information that we want to see as a community now subjected to the "Trust Act". While criminal aliens are being re-released into the community, we want executive accountability - are we saving more money policing and or reducing crime rates as a result of this legislation, or are both of these numbers going up as I suspect. We demand accountability and analysis after the first year this sociological experiment is imposed on us.

Wow, you're right, I didn't notice any ICE holds upon scanning the current log. http://www.co.marin.ca.us/depts/SO/bklog/XMLProj/index.asp They used to show them , but it's been a few years since I checked those logs, so I don't know exactly when they stopped.

It is kmy understanding that ut was not Sheriff Doyle's decision, the the social engineer powers that be in the turquoise palace made the decision because I was pointing out that about 20% of the persons in the county jail were local illegal aliens arrested on felony charges. That embarrassed the social engineers because it contradicted their "they know better than us what is good for us political correctness." Funny how "bettering themselves" also includes child molestation and hard drug sales. Here child molesters go to prison for a while. South of the border, in their native countries, they are treated not so well.

BTW, transparency only applies to what THEY want you to know. Try making a Government Records Act (state freedom of information) request without employing an attorney.
