Novato Hosting Free Emergency Preparedness Course

Class will be held Tuesday, August 6, 7-9pm

Do you know what to do when “The Big One” hits?

Do you have enough food, water, batteries and other supplies to last five to seven days in an event that first responders can’t reach you?

To help prepare Novato residents prepare for a significant earthquake, flood or other natural disaster, the city is hosting a preparedness course on Tuesday, August 6 from 7pm to 9pm.

The free class is being offered by the Get Ready Emergency Disaster Preparedness Program, a collaborative effort between Marin County communities and local law enforcement to give residents the skills needed to survive a disaster.
