Four Novato fishing friends had to jump into the Gulf of California in the middle of the night when their a charter boat capsized during a storm, according to a report in the . Seven American tourists were still missing from an accident that took place at 2:30 a.m. Sunday, and Mexican authorities said they were extending their search because the missing people could still be alive in the warm, calm waters.
