Novato Man Injured in Motorcycle Crash

After riding off the edge of a road in Santa Rosa, motorcyclist crashes into wire fence, sustaining major injuries.

A Novato man who crashed his motorcycle into a fence in Santa Rosa on Friday morning suffered major injuries, California Highway Patrol officials said.

Frank Brandi, 69, was riding a 2010 Harley Davidson bike east on West Sierra Avenue just east of Stony Point Road at about 10:25 a.m., CHP officials said.

For unknown reasons, Brandi rode off the north edge of West Sierra Avenue and into a wire fence. Brandi suffered major injuries in the collision and he was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment.
