Novato Man Arrested, Tasered, After Allegedly Leading Vallejo Police on Chase

Vallejo police arrested a 43-year-old Novato man who they say led police on a vehicle pursuit early Friday morning, the Vallejo Times-Herald reports.

Quinn McIntosh was driving a gray Chevrolet Camaro with a female passenger at about 5 a.m. when according to the report, police attempted to pull him over on suspicion of reckless driving.

McIntosh kept driving, according to police, leading authorities on a vehicle chase that ended when he crashed into a parked car, the Times-Herald reports.

McIntosh tried to run away but was detained near the crash scene by police who stunned him with a Taser after he acted combatively, authorities cited in the Times-Herald report said.

The female passenger ran away, eluding police, the Times-Herald reports.
