Novato Man Accused of Assaulting Girlfriend in San Rafael

Man and woman who got into a dispute are the parents of a child, police say.

A 22-year-old Novato man stands accused of pushing, punching, kicking and swinging a stick at his girlfriend, according to San Rafael police.

Victor Manuel Sanchez faces three felony charges and three misdemeanors stemming from an incident on Sept. 16 in San Rafael, according to San Rafael Police spokeswoman Margo Rohrbacher.

Sanchez had a relationship for two years with the woman whom he is accused to assaulting, Rohrbacher said. Sanchez left the scene of the alleged assault on Sept. 16 and was spotted by a police officer Sept. 21 at the intersection of Kerner Boulevard and Sonoma Street. Sanchez provided a false identification to the officer and was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance, Rohrbacher said.

Sanchez's most recent address was in Novato although he was listed as "all points," which is police jargon for homeless.

The Dream act is a wonderful thing! Let's give him a CA license too, he sounds harmless, like he's a good addition to our society!

Although several facts do indicate that Sanchez is an illegal alien, let's not assume that he is. If the sanctuary missionaries at the Turquoise Palace had not hidden such facts from us, we would know, one way of the other. Isn't transparency great, so long as the politically correct leftists control what is and is not transparent. If he is an illegal alien, then serve prison time and ship him to Sheriff Joe Arpaio in Arizona.
