Novato Cops Nab Cell Phone Robbery Suspect
The alleged incident occurred at 1:52 p.m. at the Target store at Vintage Oaks Shopping Center, police said.
Police arrested a man who they say grabbed a cell phone from the hands of a woman who was sitting outside a Novato Target store on Tuesday.
Officers responded to a report of the robber running through the shopping center towards the Costco store. They located the suspect in the area of South Novato Boulevard near Highway 37, Dunlap said.
The alleged victim positively identified the suspect, Dunlap said.
Jamarr Deondre Baysinger, 19, was arrested on suspicion of robbery and booked into county jail.
