Nearly 2,000 Lose Power in Hamilton

No cause determined for outage affecting widespread area, PG&E said.

The power went out to neighborhoods in the Hamilton section of Novato on Monday morning, affecting juice to 1,836 customers, according to Pacific Gas and Electric Co.

The estimated time of power restoration was placed at 2:15 p.m. Monday.

Spokeswoman Brandi Ehlers said no cause was determined yet because technicians were responding to the area. She said some of the affected streets were Kelly Court, Kelly Drive, Bolling Circle, Hutchins Way and Hamilton Landing.

It only affected my Comcast internet and phone. Nothing else here.

It affected all power at my home including the cable. I only cared about the computer and the hair dryer.

Our whole house was out. We're on Marblehead in Hamilton. It was at 10:45am (not 2:15) as the alert says. Out for about two hours. Turned off again around 2pm briefly.
