Paramedics treat man for broken leg after crash.

A motorcyclist suffered a leg injury Tuesday afternoon in a crash on northbound Highway 101 just north of the Novato city limits, a fire district source said.

An emergency call was placed at 3:40 p.m. about a motorcycle vs. vehicle crash on the right shoulder of the northbound lanes near the entrance to Olompali State Historic Park, according to the California Highway Patrol. A responding CHP officer reported the motorcyclist had an open fracture of the lower leg.

Captain Doug Fernandez of the Novato Fire District said the injured man was in his late 20s or early 30s and was transported to Marin General Hospital with a leg injury. The motorcycle was described as a fully dressed 2005 Suzuki Boulevard.
