Minor Crash Ties up Northbound 101 Traffic

Woman in Dodge collides with man in Ford pickup; woman's injuries not considered serious.

A crash on northbound Highway 101 just north of Novato tied up traffic at the tail end of the rush hour Thursday, a fire district official said.

The front end of a four-door Dodge Neon collided with the back of a Ford F150 pickup truck north of the Atherton/San Marin exit and south of the Redwood Landfill, the official said. Both vehicles ended up partially blocking the fast lane and the center divide area.

Novato Fire District crew arrived at 7:23, seven minutes after the emergency call was received. The woman in the Dodge had minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
