Man Suspected of Molesting Teen

A 36-year-old Novato man was arrested Thursday night on suspicion of molestation of a Marinwood teen, said.

On Jan. 3, the girl told police the man molested her on multiple occasions in 2010. After an investigation, Novato police obtained a search warrant for the man’s residence in a condominium complex on Seagull Row, just off South Redwood Boulevard.

Investigators served the search warrant and arrested Hector Alexander Rivera-Pagan at 11:16 p.m. Thursday. He was booked into Marin County Jail and faces felony charges of rape by a foreign object, sexual penetration with a foreign object and lewd and lascivious conduct with a child. His bail was set at $100,000.
