Hay Bales Take Brunt of 2-Car Crash
Nobody injured in Sunday morning wreck at Center & Diablo.
A crash at a downtown Novato intersection Sunday morning resulted in no serious injuries and few bales of hay tossed on the pavement.
A Toyota SUV came into contact with a pickup truck carrying hay at 9:17 a.m. at Diablo Avenue and Center Road, according to the . A woman in the SUV was checked for injuries and she declined treatment. The man who was driving the pickup used his hay hooks to pick up the bales and tie them back onto the truck by the time a medical crew arrived.
The front of the SUV was damaged and the right side of the pickup truck was damaged, suggesting a T-bone collision. No information was available from Novato police about the cause of the crash.
