A driver heading south on Highway 101 early Friday evening veered off the road and struck a light pole, according to the Marin Independent Journal.
The driver sustained minor injuries and was taken to Novato Community Hospital, Novato fire Battalion Chief Gerald McCarthy told the Independent Journal.
The crash occurred around 6 p.m. at Atherton Avenue, the Independent Journal reports.
