Cyclist Seriously Hurt in Novato Crash

A 21-year-old Novato woman was airlifted to Stanford Hospital with major injuries. The crash occurred Saturday morning on at the intersection of Delong Avenue and Redwood Boulevard.

A Saturday morning vehicle vs. bicycle collision left a Novato woman seriously injured, authorities said.

The 21-year-old female cyclist was airlifted to Stanford Hospital after initially being rushed to Marin General Hospital by ambulance, Novato police Sgt. N. Frey said.

The 7:15 a.m. Crash occurred at the intersection of Delong Avenue and Redwood Boulevard.

The adult male driver of the involved vehicle remained on the scene and was cooperative with investigators, Frey said. The driver did not appear to be impaired.
