A crack smoker, green laser, a bruised and bloodied neighbor, body slamming and more in this police blotter.

January 20

00:20 – Verbal disturbance – 00 block of San Marcos Ct.

RP states red Volvo in front of his residence and can hear a male and female screaming, can hear a woman screaming “get out”. Spoke to both parties, verbal only. Made up upon arrival.

11:39 – Health and Safety violation – 000 block of Raposa Vista

Driver in car smoking crack in front of house. Area checked – GOA.

14:39 – Suspicious subject – 7400 block of Redwood Blvd.

Male on a bike yelling to himself. RP asked him to leave and refused. Contacted subject, advised him not to return.

16:04 – Warrant arrest – 100 block of Carmel Ct.

Attempt warrant service on male for Sonoma County felony warrant.

18:22 – Burglary – 000 block of Rowland Way

Green, 95 Nissan Sentra window smashed, purse and credit cards taken. Case taken.

18:38 – Stolen vehicle – 000 block of Rowland Way

Grey 93 Nissan Pathfinder, stolen within last two hours. - Case taken.

21:41 – Alarm audible – 000 block of Hamilton Landing

All entrances secure, nothing amiss. All doors checked, unknown activation.

23:20 – Health and Safety violation – 800 block Diablo Ave.

Male yelling obscenities and that he is going to kill someone. Subject was in parking lot. Case taken.

January 19

08:04 – Burglary – 300 block of Capetown Ct.

Locks on broken on multiple storage lockers. No loss at this time. Owner requested extra patrols.

09:04 – Trespass – 900 block of Diablo Ave.

Case taken.

10:28 - 1400 block of Grant Ave.

Homeless encampment objects go through dumpsters each morning creating disturbance. RP states dumpsters are supposed to be kept locked.

11:55 – Stolen vehicle – 1000 block of 8th St.

12:24 – Burglary – 1000 block of 6th St.

Trailer in RP's parking space broken into overnight. Lock was broken. Loss noted so far is weed eaters. Report taken.


18:30 – Suspicious circumstance – 200 block of San Ramon Way

RP states a green laser light is being shined into his residence. While RP on phone states about 10 vehicles left. Area checked, juveniles contacted in the parking lot.  All subjects denied shining a laser into any residence or possession of. Surrounding streets checked, no subjects located. No further suspicious activity.

19:44 – Hit and run, misdemeanor – 1500 block of S. Novato Blvd.

January 18

00:28 – Warrant arrest – Kenwood Ct. / Olive Ave.

Subject was arrested and booked for an outstanding parole warrant by the Marin County Sheriff.

Marin County Sheriff booked subject for outside warrant.

09:38 – Warrant arrest – 000 block of Fawn Ct.

Subject was arrested for an outstanding Marin County misdemeanor warrant. Subject transported to the Marin County Jail.

13:31 – Accident, minor injury – 200 block of Vintage Way

Both parties pulled into the parking lot. Person complaint of pain to neck. Not requested ambulance.

14:03 – Accident, minor injury – 800 block of Tamalpais Ave.

RP was hit by a car while riding his bike. Vehicle is a gold Nissan still on scene. RP claiming no injuries.

14:37 – Burglary – Olive Ave. / Redwood Blvd.

RP said two subjects look to be breaking into vehicle. Subjects had accidentally locked their keys in vehicle. They were trying to break into their own vehicle.

15:00 – Unwanted subject – 7000 block of Redwood Blvd.

Male subject going through the trash. Threatened employee throat he would come back and shoot them when it was dark. Subject wandering around near trash area. Subject and RP contacted. No merit to violations. Subject moved along.

19:15 – Driving under the influence – Grant Ave. / Redwood Blvd.

RP states car was swerving on freeway. Contacted driver, no merit to DUI.

20:57 – Assault with deadly weapon – 800 block of Arlene Way

RP's friend showed up with bruises and bleeding on her hands. Suspect is 18 year old granddaughter. Ongoing issue. Declining assistance. Case taken.

January 17

08:17 – Warrant arrest – 400 block of Ignacio Blvd.

Subject booked for warrant.

09:28 – TRO violation report – 00 block of Gothic Dr.

Female subject only repeating 7 Gothic Dr. and that she needed police assistance then disconnected. Male was arrested. Case taken.

10:20 – Burglary – 100 block of Martin Dr.

RP returned home and found screen on window off. Window open, shed is open. Nothing missing. Case taken.

12:41 – Vehicle habitation – 600 block of Olive Ave.

RP states subject living in motorhome. Discovered subject not living in motorhome. He is cleaning it so that he can sell it.

12:16 – Miscellaneous code violations – 2000 block of Novato Blvd.

Female with dog off leash. RP nearly got thrown from her horse by dog. RP is anonymous. Area checked, no violations observed.

15:07 – Vandalism – 100 block of San Marin Dr.

Group of juveniles drinking alcohol. Subjects being belligerent. Broken fence to the rear of store. Arrested and booked.

15:18 – Advice to citizen – 200 block of Vintage Way

RP's 15 year old daughter being harassed by friend's mother over stealing of an iPod. Mother threatened to physically harm. Advice given. Nothing further requested.

18:37 – Burglary – 1600 block of Novato Blvd.

Occurred between 1/23 and 1/16/2014 – Windows broken and front door left open. Loss: clothes only. House ransacked. RP went to NPD to report.

18:53 – Suspicious circumstance 7300 block of Redwood Blvd.

RP did an exchange of “big coins” for cash with a subject. Returned home to Vallejo. He realized the cash was incorrect. Case taken. Investigation continuing with limited subject info.

18:54 – Warrant arrest – Grant Ave / Virginia Ave.

Subject booked into Marin County Jail for outstanding Solano County warrant.

1911 – Physical fight – 2000 block of Novato Blvd.

Juveniles in an SUV and Honda. BMA body slammed another subject. Area checked. Subjects were GOA.

21:28 – Probation search – 7600 block of Redwood Blvd.

Subjects being loud. Possible 415 between male and female. RP talked to them twice. Wants them gone. Subject was arrested and booked into Marin County Jail for a violation of parole.
