The court case against the alleged "Cotton Ball Bandit" just got a lot more complicated.
Christopher Jay Wootton, 60, had 10 more bank robbery charges filed against him in Marin County Court Friday, the Marin Independent Journal reported.
Wootton, a Larkspur resident, previously only faced charges related to the Dec. 11 Novato bank robbery that led to a police chase into San Rafael and Wootton being shot by a sheriff's deputy.
He now will answer to charges he robbed banks in Corte Madera, Greenbrae, Mill Valley, Novato, San Anselmo and San Rafael starting in December of 2012, the Independent Journal reported.
Wootton's next court appearances will be Jan. 22 and Jan. 31, according to the Independent Journal.
