Did your expensive bike vanish? The Marin County Sheriff's Office may have it in storage.

More than 130 bicycles and bicycle frames were recovered when investigators broke up a major theft ring. Now the county would like to reunite you with your bike. You must be able to prove ownership.

Photos of the recovered bikes are online.

Also, the sheriff's office encourages you to register your bike through its free Bicycle Registry Program. The registry increases the likelihood of recovery if your bike is lost or stolen.
