CHP to Hold Safety Seat Check Event in Novato

The CHP will host a child safety seat inspection event in Novato next week.

Officers will be on hand to inspect cars seats for proper installation and possible defects or recalls. They will also provide information on safety and state car seat laws.

The event will be held at Costco Wholesale (300 Vintage Way) on Sept. 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public.

Visitors are asked to R.S.V.P. by scheduling a time slot for the event. Slots are limited and reservations will be made on a first come first serve basis. R.S.V.P. to (415) 924-1100.
