Attempted Robbery at San Marin Subway

The knife-wielding suspect fled when the employee began screaming.

A man carrying a large knife entered a Subway on San Marin Drive and demanded money but ran off when the employee began screaming, according to Novato Police.

The incident occurred on Thursday night around 8:30 p.m. at the Subway sandwich shop at 111 San Marin Drive.

The man was described as a white male between 20-30 years old, approximately 5'10" tall with a slender build and dark colored hair.
