Arrest Made in Feb. 19 Stabbing Behind Mission Lodge
Police are still looking for a second suspect.
A 29-year-old Novato resident was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon for the February 19 incident where a man was beaten and stabbed after confronting someone who was tampering with his vehicle.
The incident occurred behind the Mission Lodge at 7299 Redwood Blvd. After the confrontation, the victim of the assault reported being attacked by two men and was punched, kicked, and stabbed with a knife multiple times, according to Lt. Keith Heiden of the Novato Police Department.
Following the attack, the suspects fled the scene in a vehicle. The victim was treated at a local hospital for his injuries and has since been released.

According to police, follow-up investigation and identification led them to Adolfo Galvez-Perez who was contacted at his home and later arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and conspiracy to commit a crime. He is being held on $50,000 bail.
