Where's Brent?

Here's a spot to write your well-wishes to Novato Patch Editor, Brent Ainsworth.

Where's Brent?  Well he didn't want a big fuss...but as some of you have heard, our fearless leader Brent Ainsworth has been out of commission for the past few weeks, recovering from back surgery.

He had hoped to be back at the editor's desk before anyone noticed he was gone, but it looks like it’s going to be a bit longer before he returns.

Get well soon Brent!

From your,

Readers and Friends at Novato Patch

Brent Wishing you a speedy and full recovery!...last time I saw you at Costco, I knew in my gut you needed surgery, since crushed discs really don't heal well on their own...looking forward to having you back soon. Maybe nothing contentious will happen until you come back...right!

I hope you are enjoying some down time and can have some fun. I also wish you a speedy recovery and all the best. George B. Estes

A new spine? Maybe we'll get some meaty editorials from you about this town.

Can we blame this on Mr. Frank?????
Bob Ratto February 26, 2012 at 12:07 AM
Craig It's not like Brent is related to the "slinky" or anything...if his fingers got amputated I would be worried

That is very funny...good levity for a Saturday afternoon!

Get well soon Brent! BTW, President Grover Cleveland had a medical procedure secretly performed on a yacht so that his condition wouldn't further aggravate the financial "Panic of 1893." A brilliant cover-up. His secret jaw tumor is on display in a Philadelphia museum. So hang on to those disks -- for posterity!

This is the real story: Someone named "Frank" put a half-nelson headlock on Brent, slammed him to the floor and screamed "Don't you EVER write something like that again. This is MY town and don't you ever forget that !!!!!!!

Brent, As one who had back surgery about 21/2 years ago I have some advice for you which I will deliver when I see you in person, back in Council chambers. My wife gives it to me about every day.

Brent: Hang in there, get well, 'cause we're keeping all the sceaming, yelling, and bad words all bottled up until you get back. Patch depends on you and we do too! Jerry
