Novato Theater & Non-profits

Thanks to Dan Mac Donald, architect, Design review, Donors, bank lenders, the city staff, city council, June Haugen and her volunteers all working towards opening Novato Theater. Yay! 

What a great group of supporters-Keep up the good work.  I appreciate it. Again, thanks.

Non-profits are businesses – Novato Theater is a volunteer business with IRS tax reporting and it is a boon for Novato.  Non-profits are supposed to use almost   80 %  of their funds for their association and 20% for administration costs- however, some use less and the info is supposed to be available in their auditing systems. 

New rules by the IRS change over time.  Great research project –check out Non-Profits in California and the different kinds- it is another educational project.
