Grand Central Station

Grand Central Coming to Novato--stay tuned but don't speak up---the City doesn't want your opinion--it seems I was astounded to watch the City Council discuss with the promoter/Project Manager --the in and outs--and plus's and Minus's of having a new $3,000,000 bus station on Redwood (where it is now) by Peet's Coffee. Each Council person gave their opinion of how great this was for Novato Cit...izens--except one--who was advocating letting the Citizens (that's YOU) have an opinion------Was their any outreach--" Uh. well we handed out a few brochures in front of McDonalds but no we didn't get any feed back from the public". Who is paying for this -"-Uh, the taxpayers of course." Why didn't you want them to voice their opinion?--"Uh well they can pick the paint color but we are in charge of what's good for Novato" Well you know it's like the new stop lights we have ---we just don't want to get in to any messy citizen opinions of what they think is ok since we know best we just decide then we let them pick plants and colors you know the simple stuff.-----DO YOU HAVE AN OPINION ON HTIS SUBJECT?
