Dollars/Benefit, Budget, and Design for Redwood

Please consider attending at 6:30 City Hall, Monday to make a choice of designs for Redwood Blvd.  Delong to San Marin ; the other decision of increasing the number of traffic lanes near the new train station will be later.  However both decisions are  needed for increasing the city budget p.303-305+ for transportation funding using tax payers dollars on Redwood Blvd. near the train station, and from Atherton/San Marin to Delong in increasing traffic lanes for additional traffic.  Also, changing Novato Blvd and adding new lights all with the theory that new traffic is coming to Novato.   The tax dollars to be used  for  building along Redwood Blvd around the train station and south to Delong  need to have a cost/benefit analysis.  If more traffic is coming to Novato, citizens need to know how much it will cost. Otherwise, think of the millions in savings for Novato that will take place when we live within our budget and maintain what streets we have with the funds that we have in place.  We will save another million tax dollars without artificial, polluting grass, instead find ways to recycle water for current grass fields.  Novato needs to be frugal with its tax dollars and look at future low impact vehicles, not diesel trains and subsidized businesses and housing.  Any new medium to large business or housing development  will have to be paid with taxes from the citizens. A cost/benefit analysis has not been done.
