NUSD Kindergarten Registration to Begin at Your Neighborhood School
To be eligible for kindergarten in the 2013-14 school year, children must be 5 years of age before Oct. 2, 2013.
Kindergarten registration officially begins in the Novato Unified School District on Nov. 5 at your local public elementary school. Each school will have registration packets available to fill out at school or to take home and return later. Please bring a birth certificate, record of immunizations, and two proofs of residency. Registration forms for the 2013-14 school year will be available online as of Nov. 1 on the NUSD website, www.nusd.org, under the Registration heading.
To be eligible for Kindergarten in the 2013-14 school year, children must be 5 years of age before Oct. 2, 2013. Children whose birthday falls between Oct. 2 and Dec. 2 can register for Transitional Kindergarten (TK). In addition, children born between Aug. 2 and Oct. 2 may also be eligible for TK.
