Are you prepared for a community emergency or disaster? NUSD is hosting a Safety Fair on October 12.

The Novato Unified School District is hosting an Emergency Readiness and School Safety Fair on Saturday, October 12, 2013, from 10 am to 2 pm.  It will be held at Novato High School in the main parking lot.

This event is an opportunity to learn more about emergency preparedness at our local schools and in our community.  See what many of the local agencies and organizations are doing to prepare for and recover from a disaster or emergency and how city, county and non-governmental agencies are coordinating their efforts and resources to keep our community safe.

Agencies participating include: Novato Police Department, Novato Fire District, Novato Community Hospital, Red Cross, California Highway Patrol, Marin Humane Society, Marin County Sheriff’s Department and many more.
