The Marin School of the Arts presents its annual Showcase of student performances and exhibits on Saturday, March 1 at the Osher Marin JCC in San Rafael. Showcase is the single largest fundraiser for MSA with spectacular presentations and performances by our most outstanding students in film and video, dance, digital arts, photography, creative writing, visual arts, music, and theatre arts. Tickets go on sale Friday, Jan. 24 at www.msashowcase.org.
Showcase also includes a catered reception and incredible exhibition of student artwork. Fundraising is achieved through a spirited Fund-A-Need campaign and an exciting live auction item for a one-of-a-kind experience available to the highest bidder. A two-week long online auction opens Feb. 24 and runs concurrent with the Showcase event. All proceeds benefit the Marin School of the Arts Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that funds a significant portion of the school’s operations. The goal of Showcase is to broaden MSA’s visibility and attract and strengthen community partnerships that will continue to fund the work of the Marin School of the Arts to keep the arts alive in our public schools.
