MSA Alumni to Perform at All-Star Benefit

The Dec. 21 gathering at Unity in Marin Church will be the first-ever MSA Alumni Soiree benefit.

This year the Marin School of the Arts celebrates its 10-year anniversary. As part of the ongoing celebration of the success of MSA, alumni will come together for the first time ever from 6-10 p.m. Dec. 21 at Unity in Marin Church in Hamilton. This event will feature a group of outstanding MSA alumni students returning to perform to benefit the program.

Since 2007 (when the first four-year students graduated from MSA) graduating students have been offered more than $11,400,000 in merit awards and scholarship money.  These students have been accepted at some of the most prestigious colleges and universities in the country, including Stanford, UCLA, UC Berkeley, Oberlin, NYU, Columbia, USC, Berkelee School of Music, The New School in New York, Vassar, Macalister, Sarah Lawrence, Dartmouth, Wellesley, Parson, Rhode Island School of Design, Cal Arts, and the Sorbonne in Paris … just to name a few!

Many of these students have continued their arts education or have pursued other disciplines but continue to participate in theatre, bands, symphonies, choirs or other performing groups. Some have graduated from college and are now working professionally in the arts. Come see for yourself some of the talent of MSA’s extraordinary alum.
