Things I Don't Know (but ponder anyway)
Things I think about and often wish I knew the answer to.(Sorry about ending the sentence in a proposition.)
The older I get, the less I know. I believe that's a good thing. Here are some things I don't know the answer to. If you do, please let me know.
- Was the big bang the first one, or might there have been previous bangs?
- Why is one person publicly humilating another considered entertainment (ala American Idol)?
- Will I ever be able to dunk a basketball again?
- Why is the Secretary of the Interior in charge of the outdoors?
- Is it actually possible to read the Harry Potter books too many times?
- What medical procedures that are common today will be considered crude and barbaric by future generations?
- Why do some insist that you cannot wear white after Labor Day?
- Will I ever live in a world where not a single war is being fought?
- Will my children lead happy and satisfying lives?
- Will I ever get the chance to see the earth from outer space?
- Is there intelligent life in the universe?
- Will Netflix ever have the various Star Trek TV series' on instant view?
- Will I ever understand the "One train leaves New York, another train leaves Chicago" math problem?
- Will Novato's Drew Gasparini remember us when he receives the first of his many Tony's?
- Will local singer Izzy Block remember us when she receives her first Grammy?
- Is there anyone left who believes the war on drugs is winnable the way it's being fought now?
- Is John Cleese the funniest man who ever lived?
- Is there anyone pushing for immigration reform who isn't either white or a politician?
- How many roads must a man go down?
- Will I ever get to meet the Dalai Lama?
- Will I reach enlightenment in this lifetime?
- How many times worse is the situation with the Japanese nuclear reactors than we are being told?
- Am I delusional in thinking that I'll ever learn to sing well?
- Why does Marin County appear a disproportion number of times in the New York Times crossword puzzles?
- Is there anything better than spending an entire day working on a really challenging crossword puzzle?
- Will I ever vote for a Republican in a partisan election?
- Is there really a God?
- Is there really Nirvana?
- Is there any end to the number of times a product can be "new and improved"?
- Will I ever get to teleport somewhere?
- Will the Palestinians and Israelis ever sign a fair and sustainable peace agreement?
- If I had ever been able to throw a curveball would I have made the high school baseball team?
- Will my dog always be happy to see me?
- Is the hokey-pokey really what it's all about?
