Four Openings on the Marin County Parks and Open Space Commission

The Marin County Board of Supervisors will make four at-large appointments to the Marin County Parks and Open Space Commission in July, and the application period is open through June 28.
The commission studies and recommends plans and strategies related to the acquisition, development, funding and management of county parks and open space.   The Board is looking for demonstrated expertise and interest in subject areas and disciplines beneficial to fulfilling this mission such as:  

  • Education and outreach         
  • Natural areas preservation and management
  • Recreation services and facilities
  • Wellness and health care
  • Philanthropy or fundraising
  • Community planning and sustainability
  • Financial management

The deadline for applications is 5 p.m., Friday, June 28.
