The Pride defense would hold the Demolition to negative yards in the first quarter (minus 12 yards), then would cause fumbles on back to back series, as defensive stars Safety Allan Vargas and Defensive End Najee Pierson would both make fumble recoveries. Quarterback Case would capitalized on each turnover connecting with receiver Tre Henderson on 12-yard touchdown pass, then running in a quarterback sneak one series later to put Marin County up 20-3 at halftime. And thats all the lead the defense would need.

The defense would give up just a field goal in the third quarter making the lead to 20-6 at the end of three quarter. Although the playing calling was somewhat conservative in the second half as Coach Jackson nursed the team's largest lead of the season, it was Case that would close the show with the Pride backed up on their own five yard-line. Case would hit on consecutive third down throws to run the clock down to under two minutes before giving the ball back to Reno. This capped a day where Case completed seventy percent (70%) of his passes on the day and threw for two touchdown passes and ran for another. Reno would score a consolation touchdown with under thirty seconds left in the game. The Pride would recover the ensuing onside kick to secure their first back to back wins of the season.

The defense recorded four (4) sacks, three (3) fumble recoveries and held Reno to just 28 passing yards. And for the first time all season the offense gave up zero sacks and had zero turnovers, as the offensive line played their best game of the season with all five starters on the field for the first time since opening day.

Coach Jackson stated "We found ourselves today on offensive. I admit I was pretty conservative in the second half, with our defense teams are not going to score a bunch a points if we take care of ball. TJ was amazing today the ball only touched the ground six times today (6 incompletions). No turnovers, no sacks. That's winning football. I am proud of this team for sticking together through a tough run this season and now we are starting to put it all together".
