Is one of your New Year’s resolutions to get in shape and make the world a better place? If so, maybe you’d also like to help some of Novato’s low-income kids get physically fit.
NovatoSpirit, a nonprofit that offers athletic scholarships to low-income youth in Novato, invites the public to join its Valentine Bake-a-thon and Fundraiser Feb. 1-28. The person who mails in the most money will win a free 3-month Family Fitness Membership at Novato’s Rolling Hills Club, valued at $672.
Families can create their own bake sales and fundraisers—or simply make a donation—to raise money for NovatoSpirit’s athletic scholarships. All mail must be postmarked by Feb. 28 to be eligible for the Rolling Hills Club membership prize.)
