Community Notes: Hamilton Pool Opens, Partners with San Rafael; Novato GOP Group Hosting Fashion Fundraiser

The Hamilton Community Pool opened for business on Friday.
The city announced it will partner with San Rafael for aquatic services, with the neighboring city to the south providing swim lessons and organized activities.
The Novato Republican Women, Federated, will host a "Strolling into Spring" fashion show and luncheon on Tuesday.
The event will be held at Marin Country Club at 11 a.m. Admission to the event is $50. Tickets can be purchased on the group's website.
Guests are asked to bring non-perishable items for care packages to be sent to servicemen and women from Marin County who are stationed in Afghanistan.
A trendy food chain opened its doors in Novato Thursday. According to its company website, Smashburger serves 100 percent Certified Angus Beef in its burgers.
