Whole Foods Mobile Gourmet Lunch Convoy this Thursday!

Are you in a lunchtime rut? Tired of the same old fare? Don't despair! The Local Lunchtime Heros have just the answer for your mid-day dole drums.

Join in the fun this Thursday, April 18th when Novato Whole Foods Market teams up with two local best in class food producers, Three Twins Ice Cream and Guayaki Tea, to present a pop-up mobile gourmet food convoy in the Sutter Health parking lot at 101 Rowland Way in Novato from 11:30am to 1:30pm.

The event promises to "rescue Novato lunch goers from the boring lunch" with a healthy menu featuring three kinds of tacos and two fresh salads--for just $5!

Choose any two tacos for $5:

·  Carne asada, diced onions, cilantro & lime

·  Pork verde with diced onions, cilantro & lime

·  Spicy vegan buffalo strips, ranch dressing and scallions 

$5 Salad choices include:

·  Spinach salad, tomatillos, sunburst squash with a champagne agave vinaigrette.

·  Shrimp salad, diced onions, cilantro, jalapeño, avocado with lime vinaigrette.

In addition, Sebastopol based Guayaki Tea will be on hand with free Sparkling Mate, and San Rafael's own Three Twins Ice Cream will be giving away organic ice cream to Novato lunch goers! This is one lunch you won't want to miss, so mark your calendar and look for the food truck convoy outside Novato Community Hospital this Thursday only.

Novato Whole Foods will be celebrating its 3rd Earth Day store birthday this Sunday, April 21st. The public is invited to join in a wide variety of fun activities scheduled for the all day in-store event including samples, workshops, live music, cake cutting, wine tasting, BBQ, a photo booth and more.
