If you're in the market for organic vegetable starts, herbs, annual & perennial flower starts and more, you won't want to miss this weekend's annual Autumn Plant Sale at the Indian Valley Organic Farm & Garden, located at the College of Marin Indian Valley Campus. The sale will take place Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 1 and 2, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
In addition to the aforementioned plants, the sale will offer perennial shrubs, fruit trees, assorted berries, and more! The Master Gardeners of Marin will be on hand hosting workshops, and shoppers will be treated to tastings, live music, and farm tours. The IVC garden farm stand will also be open, offering fresh picked organic fruits and vegetables for purchase.
To get to the IVC Organic Garden, take the Ignacio Blvd. exit off Hwy. 101, and proceed west to the college campus at 1800 Ignacio Blvd. Drive to the very end of the road, and park in the end lot near the soccer field. The garden is located at the east end of the field, a short walk from the parking lot.
