Debate on Affordable Housing Shows Democracy in Action

I have watched with a great deal of fascination and frankly hope for Novato in spite of our elected leaders. Novato Patch provides a forum for the free exchange of ideas, which has clearly been evident in the "Novato City Council Gets Earful from Residents on Affordable Housing" issue.

 There has been and continues to be a full and free-flowing debate between both sides with both making some great points and putting forth some excellent ideas that should be thoroughly researched and debated before any decision is made.  Keep the debate going and be civil to each other – agree or disagree but please justify your opinions with facts.

I can only hope that the city leaders — elected, hired and appointed — take note of the points being debated and show some courage and put Novato first.
