As I sit here finishing up my latest painting, off work with a knee injury for weeks, waiting for surgery, I am discouraged about VOTER DAY.
I have done my homework, checking things out with my sis in Colorado — her husband was a state legislator for several years and keeps up on the political front like no other in our family. Well here goes, they went to SEE Rick Santorum, Obama and Ryan so far. Rick was my first choice after Bachmann ... Oh, I hear the groans coming from all my liberal "fans" in Marin now.
After much study online, with sis, and with the movie at the Northgate mall, Obama's America 2016, I KNOW I am not voting for him again. I did last time and even bought his buttons, donated from my low income, and thought a man of color was the "ticket." OMG, is that how they say it?
OMG, Obama is the one NOT to vote for this time. Yes, he is cute at times. He is a good father ... well, that depends on his girls, he listened to about gay marriage?? What father takes the PRESIDENT lead over what his kids told him was right at the dinner table?
I'm an old radical, and yes, a rascal too — I went to ACLU meetings, political meetings, marches and the like. I went to money raise for Kathleen Brown in my distant past. But this time around, I am wearing a Republican coat!
If you hate Romney because he is rich well, Obama is a multimillionaire, also!
It has been said that Obama is gutting America, ending our prayers, and for gay marriage as well as abortions. I have too much knowledge about all of those to say yes to them, or any person who runs for office with those issues in their "yes" column. I will at this point vote for most anyone other than Obama.
Enough said, I am sure my car tires will be flat before morning, my back will have a knife in it, and my American flag may get burned before Nov. 5.
Just please remember: This is our FREEDOM to vote who we believe in.

I don't have to "prove" Obama's history, it speaks for itself. This is why many many people in America are unsettled with this election ,it was bolstered up by Liberal media, always gloating over O, and ranting negatives about R. I know what I am seeing. Many are not, like thousands, or even millions, do not like what they see. We don't want a Socialist nation period. Our nation was founded on Christian/faith principals,,, even Billy Graham, a multi multi year leader, councilor to many presidents said to vote Biblical,,,,,,,so now what is the enemy doing? Trying to find some way to even silence Billy. We can see it, and if you can't, we hope you will before it is too late. And if it comes to pass, God is still in control. He has an AGENDA, and now it shows, why do you think the other near half of Americans voted against him? Are all of them wrong in what they see? Did you go see the documentary Steve, Obama's America 2016? I did,as soon as I heard about it. He is one scary dude!He came from desfunction and was raised all over the place,who wouldn't be mixed up being raised a Muslim in part and then have communist grands raise you too? I have to admit that I did not see the propaganda movie you so clearly grasp as the truth. Nor do I intend to do so. Accusations based on innuendo and character assassination have no place in rational debate. It says more about the accuser than the accused. You still did not answer my question about what rights you are currently being deprived of by the Obama administration? How are we living in a dictatorship? Please cite something beyond your feelings. If you'd like to have a real impact on society, you need to be able to debate based on factual evidence, not your inchoate fears. Also, you do yourself no favors by referring to the president as " Obombanation" It just displays thoughtlessness.

2. "kinoodling" is not a word I recognize. Did you mean "coddling?" Which enemies are you referring to? Iran, where we have imposed such severe economic sanctions that their currency has been devalued by more than 50%? You would prefer we start another war with a nation that has the ability to retaliate against our economic interests (Straits of Hormuz?) to a much greater extent than Iraq? What other countries do you believe are our enemies? Which ally is he ignoring? 3. What aspect of checks and balances do you believe are not capable of functioning in our democracy? If the president were to exercise powers outside his constitutional authority, you might expect the GOP would make an issue of it. Who has he not consulted that he has a legal obligation to consult? The Senate has the power of "advise and consent" to his appointment of a variety of officials and judges, except when they are out of session. Are you disturbed at the few times the president has actually made recess appointments? 4. I guess he has done a great job of hiding his hidden agenda, since only you seem to be aware of it, though you haven't disclosed the specifics with anyone yet.

Beth Fouhy of the Associated Press questioned some of the film's points and said its central thesis that Obama's presidency is an expression of his father's political beliefs, "is almost entirely subjective and a logical stretch at best". In the Washington Post, Michael O’Sullivan described the movie as a "slick infomercial...destined to irritate the president’s supporters while mobilizing his detractors, even as it is doomed to win precious few converts", while also criticizing D'Souza for "fear-mongering of the worst kind". Bill Goodykoontz of The Arizona Republic said it was "preaching to the choir" in a style similar to Michael Moore's films, but without the humor, straw men, and views from the other side.
Enough said Steve, You rely on what others put up about the documentary, I went to see for myself......I don't agree with the critics and am sure many , and I read of some who saw it as truth. I believe it. If you reduce income levels, you reduce spending, and you reduce economic activity. Again, what do you mean by redistribution? There is more production of domestic energy sources now than at any time in the past. He said he changed his position on marriage, and used his children as his example for it. I applaud him for it. I believe anyone who loves another should be able to enter into marriage. If you don't like gay marriage, you don't have to have one, but why should you be able to impose your beliefs on others? Do you believe your interpretation of the bible should dictate the laws that we all must live by, despite the fact that many of us do not follow your beliefs?
