Letter Carrier's Food Drive benefits the Food Bank

Saturday, May 10th is the annual Letter Carrier's Food Drive.  You are asked to leave a paper bag full of non-perishable food items beside your mail box and your letter carrier will pick it up.  Suggested items are canned goods, pasta, rice, peanut butter and snack bars.  -----   But wait, there's more: What happens to the donations?  The Letter Carrier brings it back to the post office where volunteers unload it and drive it to the SF-Marin Food Bank in Bel Marin Keys.  Then, more volunteers unload it from the vehicles at our warehouse.  --- That's where you come in:  We need volunteers on that day.  If you can help, please call Joe (me) at the SF-Marin Food Bank at 883-1302 Ext 012 and tell him (me) that you'd like to volunteer for the Letter Carrier's Food Drive.  He (me) will give you all the details!  He'll (I'll) be waiting!
