Celebrating Adopt a Rabbit Month

It's Adopt a Rescued Rabbit Month and Delos is just one of several rabbits looking for a new loving home.

It’s Adopt a Rescued Rabbit Month! Are you ready to find some “bunny” to love? There are so many great reasons to adopt a rabbit. As an added incentive, rabbit adopters at the Marin Humane Society will receive a free wicker ball from our Animal Outfitters pet supply store during the month of February!

Be sure to check out our adorable video featuring rabbits available for adoption at the Marin Humane Society.

Delos is just one of about a dozen rabbits looking for homes at the Marin Humane Society. This five-month-old Rex rabbit was purchased at a feed store, and then given to someone who kept him as a classroom pet. He didn’t enjoy having so much loud activity around him so now Delos finds himself looking for a new loving home. We’ve found Delos to be friendly, curious and receptive to being picked-up and petted. He’s also interested in toys and will run around and do bunny binkies, the ultimate expression of bunny happiness!

To find out more about Delos and all the animals available for adoption at the Marin Humane Society, call our Adoption Center at 415.506.6225 or go to MarinHumaneSociety.org.

Hey everyone: I have had over 10 bunnies from when I was a child to 1 as an adult, and while they are cute and fluffy, you need to be educated on them before adopting one. I loved having my bunnies, but I also was responsible and educated while having them. Be educated before adopting. Thanks!

Bunnies are lovely, I will be getting two soon. I am sure it will be fun having them. Of course I will be sharing my experiences.
