Enjoy Hands-On Harvest Appetizers and Wine on Oct. 3

Celebrate the harvest season and salute the coming holidays with a hands-on class from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, to make five delicious appetizers with the talented team at Fresh Starts Chef Events.

Ziggy the Wine Gal, a radio and television personality as well as a private wine consultant, joins us to lead tasting of her favorite bottles from Benziger Family Winery -- just in time for holiday gift-giving and parties!

Learn how to pair simple or complex menus with wines to fit your entertaining style and your budget as well as practice recipes you can use at home.

Chefs Rocky Packard and Jacques Kirk bring decades of cooking and teaching experience to the kitchen, offering tips to make the cooking fun and hassle-free. Enjoy sitting down to taste all your creations together!

Ziggy's commentary draws from her travels to the world’s wine regions. She’s been a partner in Tantalus Winery and personal sommelier to many stars, including the rock band Journey. Her radio and television work involves national and local stations, including KRSH-FM in Sonoma County.

Tickets cost $55 include dinner and wine tasting. The event takes place in the showcase kitchen at the Next Key Center, 1385 N. Hamilton Parkway, in Novato.
