Celebrate Winter on Jan. 24 with Chef Joanne Weir

Meet a PBS-TV chef and James Beard Award winner at this Fresh Starts Chef Events — she'll be fresh from winning this year's TASTE Award for "Best New Series."

Meet PBS-TV Chef Joanne Weir, a James Beard Award-winning cookbook author, to celebrate winter in four courses from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, at Fresh Starts Chef Events.

The chef may be showing signs of afterglow from receiving the honors for “Best New Series” in this year’s TASTE Awards, set to be passed out Saturday in a red-carpet ceremony in Los Angeles.

She’ll share recipes from her new show, “Joanne Weir’s Cooking Confidence,” and all guests will receive a copy of her new cookbook by the same title.
