The Novato Lions Club, along with Lion Clubs statewide is hosting a student speaker contest drawing on students from Novato and San Marin High Schools. The winner will be elgible to compete in the district contest and potentially move on to the state contest with the winner receiving $21,000 in scholarship money. The required speaker's subject this year is "Universal Health Care and How it Will Affect Us."
