The mission of the Marin Open Garden Project is to connect people with their local foodshed and encourage sustainable living.
Backyard gardeners are encouraged to bring their excess fruit, vegetables, flowers, seeds, seedlings, and other goodies to the Novato Unified School District Lawn and exchange with other gardeners.
