Celebrate the beginning of 2011 at the first Linked Local Marin County meeting of the year being held Tuesday, February 1st from 6 to 9PM at Novato’s Homeward Bound. The last event, ‘speed networking’, was held in September at Homeward Bound where over $450 was raised for the award winning non-profit and a good time was had by all.
Linked Local Marin County is a networking group that started in 2009 and has grow to over 2,000 members. The group’s creator, David Kitaen CLTC, has gathered support from within the group to put on networking events like Tuesday’s with each event becoming more popular and successful.
Tuesday’s event won’t be ‘speed networking’, but it will be a mixer event with a surprise format. Raffle tickets will be sold with hundreds of dollars worth of gift baskets and certificates to be won. Cost is $10.95 and includes rare Cuban Cuisine de Havana and California Cuisine Appetizers and beverages available. Cash will also be accepted at the door. All proceeds for the event will benefit Homeward Bound of Marin.
