It’s all Elementary! Program
For children ages Kindergarten-5th Grade

Parents, want to give your child an edge up for your elementary school child this coming school year? Check out our new It’s All Elementary! Program! The Novato Youth Center has been offering before and afterschool care to youth in Novato for 36 years. This year we are launching a new program called It’s All Elementary! Program, with an emphasis on expanded learning opportunities for children through Academic Support, Enrichment, and Recreational activities. A long-time partnership with the Novato Unified School ensures that our afterschool programs are aligned and an extension of the school day and rich in academics. You may be asking “What’s the advantage of this program?” Our answer is that this cutting edge program includes three vital areas that will support your child’s learning and growth:

Academic Support:
-
Reinforce school day learning through afterschool homework instruction and support Combo classes for 1st-5th grade. Kinder in a self-contained class.
- Incorporate academic learning activities that may include: sight words, vocabulary activities, math games, reading buddies, writing.
- Serve as NUSD school liaison as requested.

Enrichment
-
Integrate fun age-appropriate projects and activities with academics (Cooking, Art/theatre, Computers, Science, Gardening)
