Community Corner

Classical or Popular? Opera or Jazz? Concert to Provide Both!

Whether your musical taste runs to classical or popular, the talents on display on Sunday, June 5 at All Saints Lutheran Church will astound  you!  Pianists John Boyajy, a Julliard graduate and well-respected Novato music instructor, and Mark Davis, a San Marin graduate and SF State student with outstanding musical talent, will perform solo numbers and will accompany four classically trained, professional vocalists with a wide range of offerings.

Deb Cash, also a San Marin graduate, studied music at Pacific Lutheran University in Washington State and is currently performing as a jazz singer.  Susan Wade, a seasoned voice coach and performer, and Andrew Chung, founder of Bay Area Classical Harmonies and Bakersfield Opera Company, are both classical music professionals with extensive opera repertoires.

This free community concert promises to be a delightful mix of opera and jazz, classical and popular.  It starts at 3:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of All Saints Lutheran Church, 2 San Marin Drive, on the corner of San Marin Drive and Novato Boulevard.  A free-will offering will be received.
