RUMBLE IN THE JUNGLE

Good Shepherd Lutheran School Explores the Wonders of the Jungle During this Year's Summer Day Camp, Rumble in the Jungle

Good Shepherd Lutheran School is ramping up for its annual summer camp. This year’s theme, Rumble in the Jungle, offers children two years old through Kindergarten a unique opportunity to experience an environment that is especially designed for their learning, exploration and self-discovery, in the safety of a Christian setting.

“Good Shepherd Lutheran School encourages children’s social, creative, spiritual and intellectual development.  We believe that children grow and learn when they are challenged  both physically and mentally,” states school Administrator, Debbie Hanks.  Rumble in the Jungle will allow children to be hands-on while they discover concepts through experimentation, observation, inquiry and exploratory play.”

Beginning June 24 and running through August 9, Rumble in the Jungle will include seven weekly mini-camps geared to inspire and celebrate children’s imaginations such as, “Do I play like you do?” and “Off to See the Jungle!” Children will also participate in activities such as lunch bunch, gymnastics, walking field trips, and an end-of-the-summer get together with snacks and families.
