Olive and the Dirty Martini’s (www.oatdm.com) are an eclectic bunch,hailing from film, education, and high technology. But the most important thing is this: they really, really love to play. From Aretha to Zeppelin, they cross genres with equal passion. They’re not stupid, though. They know people want to dance, and they are more than happy to honor that by driving that beat. Proceeds from all NT LIVE MUSIC events are donations and benefit the Novato Theater, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit community benefit corporation that is leading the rebuilding and operation of the historic downtown Novato Theater. With continued community support, it will be rebuilt as a community cultural center where live music, performing arts such as live theater and dance recitals, simulcast showing of live opera, Broadway shows, sports events, as well as a daily film program will have a year round venue. It will be open 7 days a week, 365 days a year and will be available to rent for meetings, private events and educational outreach programming.
