An open house is planned to showcase a new exhibit at the Novato History Museum.
The exhibit highlights the pioneer families of James Black Burdell, Joseph Sweetser, Peter Nave and Juan Ignacio Antonio Pacheco.
The event is from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at the museum, 815 DeLong Ave.
