Mount Burdell Open Space

We will head for the summit on this hike that will take us across the south slope and then up to the 1,554 ft. summit. Our route is a loop which will bring us up the Old Quarry Trail which includes one rather steep section, but the route down will be entirely on fire roads. This walk is for ages 15 and up. We request that no animals (except service animals) attend. Heavy rain may cancel. DIRECTIONS: From Hwy 101 in Novato, take exit 463 for San Marin Dr west 2.3 miles. Turn right onto San Andreas Dr and follow approximately 0.5 mile. The gate is on the right (before dead end).
